If you ever need to clean your photographs, there are some techniques you should keep in mind. A big thank you to Fujifilm and all their helpful info! Please check out their website for more detailed information! This is just paraphrasing. The below instructions are for silver halide photos, like what we do here in the shop. If the damaged photos are inkjet printed, please click here.

Cleaning Photos that are Stuck Together
Remove any dirt or residue from the surface using a soft brush if the photo is dry, if it is wet, soak it in clean, room temperature water. Make sure to wear rubber gloves, preferably medical gloves.
Slowly and gently pull the photos apart from the top to the bottom. Let the water get in between the photos as you pull them apart to loosen them up and allow them to be separated. Be patient! This might take up to an hour if the photos are badly stuck together.
Once you’ve separated the photos, rinse them again in clean water and let them dry in a cool, dry place. Do not use a hair dryer so your print doesn’t curl up.
Hopefully this has been helpful and we thank Fujifilm (the paper we use here in the store!) for their awesome care instructions for damaged photos.
